    I grew up eatting S.O.S It was one of those cheap and easy things that any gravy lover would enjoy. I'm not sure how old I was before my dad finally told me what S.O.S stood for. Served over toast it tasted just as good over potatoes. I bet it would even taste good over pasta or rice but I have never tried it (yet.) It is a pretty standard recipe and would be easy to change up to fit what.
